Sunday Worship
Pilgrim Church is located at 4 Watson Street, Nashua, New Hampshire. If you
have never visited us before, here are driving directions and a map.
Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:00 a.m., and typically
lasts for 60–75 minutes.
After the service, please stay and join us
in Fellowship Hall for refreshments and conversation.
We have an active Christian education program, with classes or activities for
all ages. Refer to our C.E. page for information about
the programs available for each age group. Nursery care for infants and toddlers
is available throughout the service. If you have any questions or need directions
to the nursery, please ask one of the Diaconate members on duty in the entrance
to the Sanctuary.
Note: We now record each worship service digitally, and
try to publish each service here, on this website. We can also make CD recordings of the service on request (although this may take a day or two). If you would like
a copy of the service, see one of the Diaconate members after the
service, or call the church office during the week.
Theme and Lectionary Schedule
Each year, the ministry team chooses a theme for worship and education, and
many of our messages are tailored to this theme. The theme for the 2007-2008
year is “Dying … For New Life”. Watch for
examples and variations of this theme throughout the year!
In general, we follow the Revised Common Lectionary—the ecumenical Bible
plan for public worship on Sundays and the principal holidays of the Church
Year. For more information about the Revised Common Lectionary, as well as texts
and readings for specific dates, visit the UCC
SAMUEL page.

information about the details of worship throughout the year, and the background
and symbolism of the various seasons.
Parking and Accessibility
Ample free parking is available on the church grounds. Designated handicapped
parking spaces are located adjacent to the two main entrances of the church.
Pilgrim Church is wheelchair-accessible. A ramp is located outside the main
entrance at the south end of the building. Another ramp is available inside
the entryway of the Watson St. entrance. “Chair stations” are
located throughout the Sanctuary, permitting wheelchair users plenty of room.
We have handicapped-accessible restrooms on the main floor, and our classrooms
and most of our meeting areas are also on the main floor. We have an elevator
to the lower level for access to the Thrift Shop and secondary meeting rooms.
Note: We offer large-print versions of the worship bulletin
for all of us folks who have trouble reading smaller type. If you would like
one, please ask one of the Diaconate members on duty in the entrance to the
sanctuary.
Need a Ride?
If you want to come but can't drive or walk, just give
us a call at the church office. We can arrange for pickup and return. If
possible, please call during the week before the service. That will give us
more time to make arrangements.
