The God We Can Know

Exploring the “I am” sayings of Jesus, by Rob Fuquay

Wednesday evenings 6:00 -7:30 in the Conference room and on Zoom. April 30 to June 11

God told Moses His name was “I AM.” But what does that mean? Several times Jesus declares “I AM the ..” What did Jesus mean by these “I AM” sayings? How can Jesus be Bread? Or a Vine? Or a Light? What would these sayings have meant to his followers, who knew Moses and the Hebrew scriptures? How can that help us understand what they mean to us today as followers of Jesus? In these engaging videos and studies, Rev. Fuquay will take us from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Our goal is to help us to understand these sayings of Jesus, which can help us “Know the great I AM” that we call God. Join us for lively conversation and activities!
