Rev. Judith Bryant (“Pastor Judie”)

Pastor Judie’s time as intentional interim pastor at Pilgrim Church began on Oct 13, 2020, seven months into the Covid pandemic.  What a unique way to begin a ministry at church.  But, even in a pandemic with the church closed, and Sunday services, weeknight meetings, and adult ed all on ZOOM, she knew what a special group of people make up the congregation. She was very happy when we once again began to meet in person.

Pastor Judie was called by the congregation to be our Designated Term Pastor and began serving in that capacity on July 1, 2023.

Pastor Judie lives in Chelmsford, MA with her husband, Geoff, and their two dogs, Bailey and Seamus. Geoff and Pastor Judie have three adult children – Chris, Katie and Daniel, and two grandchildren- Dez, age 10, and Alex, age 8.

Pastor Judie has held several different roles within churches over the years. She was the Director of Christian Education at the UCC church in Chelmsford for 17 years; the Associate Pastor for Congregational Life at the same church for 18 months; the settled pastor of the Mont Vernon, NH UCC church for 6 years; a sabbatical pastor in Lowell, MA; a long term supply pastor for 15 months at the UCC church in North Leominster, MA and now very happy to be the intentional interim at Pilgrim. God’s vision of a world at peace is her vision, too, and her ministry has that vision as a top priority. She has a BA in Sociology from Salem State College and an MDiv from Andover Newton Theological School. She loves to read, take bike rides, walk in the woods, be with her family, and laugh!
